Born in St. Louis Park, Minnesota and and raised in Southern and Northern California. I have been passionate and creating art for as long as I can remember. I attended Stanislaus State University and earned a Bachelor's degree in Art with a concentration in printmaking.
I live and work as a full-time artist and art director of The Artist's Loft, Modesto California. I am passionate about life and creative ways to see the world and people around me.Inspired by gestures, color and light. I begin each painting with the attempt to paint loose to not inhibit the process of making the art.
I desire the viewer to feel the energy and see traces of the beginning process through the layers of my art making. I have succeeded a great painting when it feels energetic, layers of marks and textural embellishments that beckons the viewer to want to touch and know more about the work.
